Join MASITE and ITSPA on Thursday, July 20th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at PennDOT District 11 for a presentation by Joseph Burns, Senior Traffic Control Specialist for PennDOT in the TSMO Planning & Funding group alongside Stephen McGinley of Kimley-Horn.

The presentation will discuss Publication 852, TSMO Guidebook, Part II: Design, which focuses on the design process and guidelines for the deployment of TSMO strategies including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The purpose of this publication is to ensure the proper deployment of ITS field devices to support the Department's operations program. In this technical workshop you will gain an understanding of the project development process as it applies to ITS projects, device and infrastructure design, maintenance considerations, plans preparation, and system integration.

Please join us for a social and happy hour after the training from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at nearby Walnut Grill in Bridgeville. Appetizers and drink tickets will be provided.

This presentation will qualify for 1 PDH upon completion.
